KazAID implements the Avicenna: Healthcare program in partnership with Astana Medical University (AMU) for students from Central Asia. This project is aimed at supporting academic mobility and developing regional cooperation in the field of medical education in Central Asia.

The purpose of the program is to support students from medical educational institutions of Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan with a high level of academic achievement.

The program includes two-week training courses for 17 students from Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan from April 12 to May 2 this year according to the AMU academic mobility plan, covering various aspects of medical education, as well as a cultural program to explore the sights of Astana.

Training under the program is provided to participants on a non-refundable basis due to a grant from the Kazakhstan Agency of International Development “KazAID”.
