Day 3 of Dostyk-Digitalization. Experience of digitalization in Singapore.

The five-day KAZAID program continues in fruitful cooperation with Nazarbayev University and APA, DKNews.kz reports.

The first three days of the program "Dostyk-Digitalization" was held at Nazarbayev University Graduate School of Public Policy and we had a unique opportunity to dive into the world of digital governance with professors from NU GSPP and with Professor Ooh Koon Tian from the Singapore Civil Service College. His presentation explained the key aspects of digitalization in Singapore and covered important topics:

 Policy and Legislation

The professor shared information on laws and acts that facilitate digital transformation, including the Electronic Transactions Act and data protection measures.

Case studies

Participants discussed projects and studies showing how policies and legislation are influencing digitalization in Singapore, including digital signatures and e-documentation.

Technology Adoption

The professor spoke about the disruptive digital technologies being adopted in Singapore, including the national artificial intelligence strategy and initiatives to bridge the digital divide.

The day brought new insights into important aspects of digital transformation and participants were exposed to Singapore's rich experience in digitalization.
