The Nauryz celebration took place in Tallinn, involving the community of Kazakh compatriots in Estonia, DKNews.kz reports.
The holiday, which traditionally takes place under the auspices of the International Association of National-Cultural Societies "Lira", consisted of exhibitions of folk art, national songs and all kinds of handicrafts. During these events, city residents had the opportunity to get acquainted with the traditions and culture of the peoples of Asia.
At the opening of “Nauryz”, the Mayor of Tallinn M. Kõlvart and the Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Estonia N. Seitimov addressed the guests with welcoming speeches.
As part of the spring holiday, a fair was organized, where in a separate Kazakh stand the elements of national culture - examples of culinary skills, traditional folk clothing, household items, souvenirs, as well as educational books about Kazakh traditions were demonstrated.
